Pushkin's novels are 4 of the Tales of Belkin: “The Stationmaster,” “The Shot,” “The Squire’s Daughter,” and “The Blizzard.” Each story has its own problem: an old man’s daughter gets taken away, and he is left alone to grieve; a cold, harsh sharpshooter, jealous of a guy who has everything; two households alike in dignity, a pair of star-crossed lovers in disguise, twice!
